Josh Bennier - Nadie Como Tú - Album Cover

Go and check out this new fantastic jazz album by Josh Bennier! It’s a bloody ripper and he also got me on artwork duties.

This was a very free project, with the only prompt being 'modular’.

It can go two ways with little input on a project. It's easy to work on something for a while before having it knocked back (or the whole project cancelled; been there). But then, when the person you’re working with is open and excited for the collaboration, it’s great getting to just run wild with it.

I had the album to listen to while I was working, so that spurred me towards vibrant colours and characters. Raiding the public domain archives for some curious folk to populate the scene with and some plants with which to grow a garden, I built this little scene in digital collage and painted some extra bushes/trees.
Pretty stoked with it.
